Due to a strong pipeline of secured work within Melbourne's North and West, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a $15m school project.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established regional team with a healthy pipeline of local work, allowing you to stay within the same area for future projects.
Your New Role As the Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful onsite delivery of a $15m education project.
Your responsibilities will include: - Managing the day-to-day operations of the project from site establishment through to completion.
- Coordinating subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
- Managing quality control, safety compliance and project documentation.
- Leading site meetings, toolbox talks and maintaining strong communication across the project team.
- Working closely with the Project Manager and Contract Administrator to achieve programme and commercial objectives.
- Building positive relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
What you need to succeed - Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering Commercial Construction projects.
- Local Australian commercial construction experience is essential.
- Previous experience delivering Education, Government or Commercial new build projects is highly regarded.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and project teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Trade background or tertiary qualifications in Construction Management (preferred).
