Trifecta have partnered with an industry-leading Tier 1 construction group who deliver a broad range of services to major builders across Victoria. Due to continued growth within their basements and civil division, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to play a key role in the business.
Your new role - Working closely with the Director and senior leadership team, you will manage end-to-end estimating activities across basement, excavation, and civil packages.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and feasibility assessments for upcoming projects.
- Lead pricing reviews, trade breakups, and subcontractor evaluations.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure accurate project handovers and ongoing cost tracking.
- Mentor junior estimators and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.
- Engage with clients, consultants, and suppliers to build and maintain strong commercial relationships.
What you need to succeed - Proven experience in a Senior Estimator or Estimator position within the civil or structural construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of basements, earthworks, retention systems, piling, and concrete structures.
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying.
- Local experience is highly regarded; international exposure (UK/NZ/USA) also considered.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to cost planning and tender preparation.
