Trifecta Recruitment have partnered with an established and highly reputable Commercial builder who specialise in delivering major retail, supermarket and town centre developments throughout Melbourne. With projects typically ranging up to $60m, they have built a strong reputation through repeat business, long-standing client relationships and consistently delivering high-quality projects.

A significant portion of their work comes from exclusive clients who continue to engage them project after project, providing exceptional stability and a healthy pipeline of future developments. With a number of major projects either recently awarded or due to commence over the next 12 months, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to join the business.

Your New Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of large-scale supermarket and retail developments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the delivery of major supermarket and retail projects valued up to $60m.
• Leading project teams including Site Managers, Contract Administrators, Project Coordinators and Graduates.
• Managing client relationships and acting as the key point of contact throughout project delivery.
• Running PCG meetings, managing head contract obligations and overseeing major variations.
• Driving project financial performance, programming and risk management.
• Working closely with senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably and on time.
• Managing consultants, authorities and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

What you need to succeed:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within Commercial Construction.
• Strong experience delivering major supermarket, retail or shopping centre projects.
• Local Australian construction experience is essential.
• Experience delivering projects from commencement through to completion.
• Strong commercial acumen and contractual knowledge.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant Construction Management, Engineering or related tertiary qualifications preferred.
