Your new business Trifecta have partnered with a long standing client, who have been in operation for decades. They are a high tiered builder who deliver high rise projects throughout Melbourne’s inner suburbs. They primarily deliver Commercial, Apartments, Hotels, Government and Aged Care projects up to $200m build cost. Due to a string of recently won projects they are looking for a Project Manager to join the team to work on up and coming projects.
Your new role - Overall responsibility of the delivery commercial buildings valued over $50m.
- Opportunities to deliver either a $90m Government build in the East, or mixed use apartment/office projects in the CBD (circa $100m).
- Leading project teams and responsible for managing the performance of SMs, CAs, Supervisors and PCs/Grads.
- Client management, running PCG meetings, head contract variations/ progress claims.
- Assisting the CA and SM on subcontract management, lettings variation claims etc.
- Dealing with other external consultants such as PM firms, engineers, architects etc.
What you need to succeed - Experience running at least one project from start to finish as leading Project Manager.
- Local Australian experience working within the tier 1-3 building space.
- Ideally with experience in delivering Government buildings/Apartments/Offices/Hotels where you have seen the full life cycle of the project.
- Excellent presentation, communication and leadership skills.
- A genuine, great attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ideally tertiary qualifications related to Construction, however the specific experience is more important.
