Your New Company Trifecta Recruitment have partnered with a highly reputable Commercial builder who have built a strong reputation for delivering large-scale projects across the Apartment, Office and Hotel sectors throughout Melbourne. With a history of delivering complex projects valued up to $150m, they continue to be one of the more respected names within the commercial construction market.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Finishes Foreman to join the team and work across a number of upcoming projects located within Melbourne's inner suburbs.
Your New Role As the Finishes Foreman, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and coordinating all finishes trades onsite.
- Driving programme outcomes to ensure finishing stages are delivered on time.
- Quality assurance and defect minimisation throughout the finishes phase.
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are completed to specification.
- Conducting toolbox talks and ensuring all site safety requirements are adhered to.
- Working closely with the Site Manager and project team to achieve key project milestones.
- Managing handover and completion activities to ensure a high-quality finished product.
What you need to succeed - Previous experience as a Finishes Foreman within Commercial Construction.
- Local Melbourne/Australian construction experience is essential.
- Experience delivering large-scale multi-level commercial projects such as Apartments, Offices or Hotels.
- Strong understanding of quality management and finishes sequencing.
- Excellent communication and subcontractor management skills.
- Trade background (Carpentry preferred) or relevant construction qualifications.
