Your new companyTrifecta has partnered with a highly respected fitout and refurbishment contractor with a proven track record delivering complex Government and Private sector projects valued between $1m and $45m. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth across multiple sectors, they are looking to add an experienced Estimator to their established pre construction team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, collaborating closely with project delivery and leadership teams to drive successful outcomes from tender through to handover.
Your new role - Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions across a range of commercial projects.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Managing subcontractor pricing, trade breakups and supplier engagement.
- Conducting feasibility assessments and cost planning for upcoming projects.
- Assisting in value engineering and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Supporting the handover process to the delivery team post-award.
What you need to succeed - 2–5+ years’ experience in an Estimator or Contract Administrator role with a fitout, refurbishment or new build finishes capacity.
- Local Melbourne/Australian construction experience is essential.
- Experience across fitout, refurbishment or new build finishes capacity.
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- Solutions focussed and positive attitude
- Good communication / social skills.
- Qualification in construction relevant to this role (i.e. trade qualification or degree)
