Trifecta have partnered with an industry leading tier 1 construction group who deliver a broad range of construction services for tier 1&2 commercial builders. Due to an increase of work in their basements division, they are looking for experienced Supervisors looking to join the team.
Your new role - Oversee daily site operations, ensuring all trades and labourers work effectively and safely.
- Coordinate deliveries, plant hire, and subcontractor access to maintain workflow.
- Ensure work meets specs, building codes, and plans; especially for basement elements like waterproofing, shoring, and concrete.
- Enforce OH&S policies, lead toolbox talks, monitor high-risk tasks (e.g. excavation, confined spaces), and ensure PPE and signage are in place.
- Track progress against schedule, flag issues early, and adjust workflows. Ensure sufficient labour and equipment daily.
- Act as site liaison with PM, engineers, and client reps. Maintain site diaries, report progress, variations, and attend coordination meetings.
What you need to succeed - Previous experience working within Basements, Excavation, earthworks and piling is essential.
- Previous experience in a Foreman role in the above packages.
- Local experience is necessary.
- Solid presentation and communication skills
- Strong ability to work in a team environment
- Ideally excellent tenure with a similar contractor where you have seen multiple projects from start to finish.
